Got my iPad 64 GB and started working with MonoTouch!

Posted on Sunday, 04 April 2010 06:47 PM

Bought an iPad 64 GB version last night, not because I'm an Apple fan but because I will be doing some iPhone/iPad developments and since my MUST BUY Notion Ink Adam tablet hasn't been out yet, I don't have a choice :)

I kinda like the iPad in a way, it's VERY  responsive, some of the apps in the AppStore are really good, so they will be great examples for me to work on my own apps. I don't have an iPhone (I'm using the Google Nexus One and loving it), so my apps will use the iPhone simulator for testing, but I can use my iPad for real-world demonstrations, etc...

I've also started to work with MonoTouch, aside from some new APIs and workflows, I'm really liking it at a tool to develop iPhone/iPad apps without learning Objective-C.
